Meet Graham Fowler
Early last summer I fell in love with this little haven. It's nestled in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest, perched on the edge of the beautiful Tallulah River, in a sweet valley called Tate City (pop. ±32), surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains.
Rosane and I moved in last June. Every day we delighted ourselves discovering something new. This is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the nation, and there is wild beauty all around. One of my favorite things is to feed the ravenous trout that wait under our bridge.
Then one day, we stopped and looked at each other: What are we doing here? It all happened so fast. Why did we really trade the life we knew in Atlanta and move two hours away to this place, 30 minutes from the nearest store?
